Detroit Pistons cemented their first place in the East after a win against the Knicks.

Revenge served cold — the Pistons dominated the Knicks from start to finish to cement their place at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Detroit Pistons defeated the New York Knicks 121-90 in a National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season game, cementing their first place in the Eastern Conference.

This was the first matchup between the two teams since the New Yorkers eliminated Detroit in the first round of the playoffs last season. Back then, New York won the series 4-2, led by the in-form Jalen Brunson.

This time, the Pistons didn’t give their opponents a chance, winning every quarter of the game and giving their stars a rest in the final quarter. Detroit now has a 27-9 record, while New York is 23-13.

Cade Cunningham scored a game-high 29 points and added 13 assists. Javonte Green added 17, and Jaden Ivey had 16.

For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson shone again with 25 points, but committed six turnovers. Miles McBride contributed 17 points, while Mikal Bridges was the third-highest scorer for the Big Apple team with just 10.
